In the upper right is the The Flaming Star Nebula that is lit by the nearby AE Aurigae in the constellation Auriga. approximately 1,500 light-years from Earth.
The Flaming Star Nebula is bright enough to be observed and photographed through a small telescope under the right conditions.
In the lower left is the Tadpole Nebula located approximately 12,400 light-years away in the northern constellation Auriga.
The nebula is more than 100 light-years across. It is part of a larger star-forming region that is also home to the nearby Flaming Star Nebula.
